As you know most of my performances are private hire, however we have some more public performance dates with Pizza Express Live performing as the D&L Acoustic Duo with my vocalist.

These nights are great fun, and also a great opportunity to see me live. If you’ve made a booking/are thinking about making a booking/or just fancy a pizza and some good music come along and say hello!

Duncan Howlett plays solo fingerstyle, nylon string guitar in a variety of sets lasting up to 3 hours. He plays both original arrangements of great classic & contemporary songs & also his own compositions. Duncan is available to hire for all kinds of public or private events, including weddings and corporate events. He can also provide acoustic groups.

Duncan Howlett started teaching guitar in the year 2000. Having taught at home for many years, he later joined one of the Southern Counties largest independent music teaching organisations. He taught both drums and guitar, doing group and 121 lessons in over 13 primary schools. Currently he teaches privately from his home studio in Rottingdean, near Brighton. Since he started, Duncan’s guitar pupil numbers have grown rapidly and all of his pupils have received 100% pass rate on all Trinity Guildhall and Rockschool exams.
